Dunedin Technical's Premier Womens team celebrate winning the league for the sixth time in a row

Prem Women wrap up the 2018 championship

Another solid performance by the Prem Women resulted in a 5 – O win over a good Uni Prem side and was enough to wrap up the championship for 2018. A tight first 20 minutes forced a change of formation and from that point on Tech got the upper hand. Highlight of the day was Lara Walls goal where she virtually went the length of the field, up the left channel fighting off challenges, took the ball to the byline, cut back in beating another defender and blasted the ball inside the front past.

Really pleasing to see the level of consistency in the girls play in the past month and a good omen going forward in the Kate Sheppard Cup.
Goal scores wee Emily Morison 2, Lara Wall, Ruby Anderson, Mikayla Gray. POD to the player who had to fill the big boots of Shontelle Smith who was absent, Tabitha Seaton was outstanding in midfield and got the nod.
